Workshops
Holly’s workshops are designed to be of benefit to everyone, from professional performers seeking performance skills training, to the brave and curious seeking self-development and everyone in between. Through skillful holding and carefully paced progressions of games and exercises, Holly creates the ideal conditions that allow creativity, play, insight, wonder and discovery to thrive.
Holly has been devising and delivering workshops for adults since 2007. She draws upon her huge history of training and experience in many areas, including: improvisation, clowning, fooling, dance, physical theatre, voice work, creative writing, dramaturgy, dramatherapy, mindfulness, playwork, group process and nonviolent communication to deliver bespoke, bountiful group experiences. Upcoming Workshops and Events
10th December 2024
Hello Friends,
After wandering in the wilderness in search of home for over a year, I’ve landed back in Bristol, the vibrant city that played a massive part in helping me develop my work and my identity.
I have decided to celebrate my return by running The Well-Held Space, my 3-month creative facilitation course here in Bristol, starting in January.
I'll also be offering another term of one-to-one online therapy, supervision and creative consultancy from January - April.
I’m getting some lovely offers for guest teaching / facilitating and I’m co-organising several residential research labs (all private for now, but watch this space for open residential workshops and labs later in 2025). I’m really loving collaborating with other people to make things happen. It’s so lovely not having to shoulder all the responsibility for organising everything myself! I’m open for more of this, if you’re interested, get in touch.
I’ve been weighing up whether I can squeeze in another 5-day Fools School next term, but it’s seemingly impossible with all the other wonderful workshops and co-created residencies and retreats I’ve got going on. So I’ll look to organize a few more from April onwards. As soon as I’ve got them set up, I’ll let you know here or in my newsletters.
You can sign up to my newsletter at the bottom of this page to be amongst the first to hear what's on offer.

“The only trouble with doing a workshop with Holly Stoppit is that all other workshops then pale in comparison.”
